Former middle school head, now delivering cpd in leadership learning for Leeds Beckett University and self-employed education consultant.

School leadership work has resulted in the schools involved making outstanding progress.  Leadership training with Carnegie has produced many current Headteachers.

Mr.Vic Cornwell; Community

Previously Chairman of the BSDPI Drugswatch Charter Award, Youth Services leader, Bradford West Rotary Club, retired local businessman.

Vic created strong links with local schools as an assessor for the Bradford schools drug prevention charter for 7 years. Vic also trained children in keeping healthy and safe from drugs.  Vic is now retired after having owned and run a successful electrical company for 34 years.

Mrs Nasreen Karim; Business / Legal

Mrs Jackie Laybourn: SEN/Education/Governance

  • Worked in Special Schools, Special Units for EBD, Primary, Middle and High Schools
  • Self-employed as a private tutor
  • Worked in education for 41 years, in all sectors of the education landscape including schools in Special Measures
  • Chair of Governors of 2 schools, which have moved from RI to Good – Laycock and Peel Park

Rev Paul Bilton - Community

Expertise in:

  • Community development in a multi-faith/multi-cultural community
  • Unrivalled knowledge of the Farnham/Hollingwood communities
  • HR – working extensively with both employed and volunteer workers
  • Chairing Governors

Evidence of Success:

Working with Farnham Primary over a number of years to achieve outstanding in the 2016 Ofsted inspection and also working in a wider aspect with other local schools.

Leading church and local community groups (Lidget Green Community Partnership) as well as Greenmoor Big Local to create a community hub in Lidget Green.
