Mr Brent Fitzpatrick CBE – Finance

Expertise in:

  • leading companies
  • managing projects including company mergers
  • school governance, including chairing, and academy trustee/directorship
  • strategic financial management of schools

Evidence of Success:

Includes his financially successful business career spanning 26 years, his MBE for his service to school governance, his being a National Leader of Governance and a Trustee with the Birmingham based National Governors Association.

Experience:

His business specialises in oil and gas production, oil services, Insurance, technology and clean energy.  He has long time experience of chairing a number of governing bodies and is trustee role at Dixon’s Academy Trust.

Mrs Siobhan Hammond – Human Resources

Evidence of success:

I am regularly invited to attend Finance and Staffing committee meetings, as well as full Governing Body meetings to advise on change management and procedure.

I have also run several Headteacher and Senior Leadership recruitment exercises including assessment days.

I work regularly with school business and finance managers, meaning that I am familiar with school finances and the budgetary pressures that schools are facing. My experience means that I can assist the MAT by referencing areas of best practices from other schools.

Experience:

I have worked in Human Resources in the education sector for 12 years, 18 years altogether in HR. I currently work with around 100 schools, which include academies and multi-academy trusts. I have worked closely with both senior leadership teams and governing bodies, including training to governors on their roles and responsibilities specifically relating to HR. I have also provided strategic advice around all aspects of HR including performance management, improving attendance, restructures and where necessary redundancy exercises.

Mr Paul Triner: Leadership & CPD

Evidence of Success: 

Paul currently leads and manages a team of academic and administrative staff in support of trainee primary and secondary teachers on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.  This involves  partnership work with over 200 schools across the city of Bradford and its wider region.  

A successful teaching career over 30 years, including leading an 11-18 secondary school into academy transition.

  • School Partnerships Manager for ITT at Bradford College.
  • Professional self employed teacher trainer interested in evidence based training and personal effectiveness programmes.
  • Former Secondary Headteacher.

Mrs Emma Wilson – Audit

Expertise in:

Qualified Chartered Accountant since 2001. Run  own business since 2001.

Specialism in owner managed businesses, school finance and audit packs for plc companies.

Trained in audit and understand the importance of audit reports and what they mean to a wider audience.

Evidence of success:

Managed school finances and arranged successful capital projects. Advised school management committees on Finance.

In control of a large client book, manage significant deadlines and understand the importance of meeting them in a timely fashion across all organisations.
